Holy family hospital was established in 1948 and has been affiliated with Rawalpindi Medical University since 1977. It is an 1000 bedded hospital situated in Satellite Town.
The hospital is situated on the ever-busy Murree Road. It houses besides all the other clinical departments of Medicine, Surgery, Eye, ENT, Pediatrics, Gynecology & obstetrics, Orthopedics, Urology and dermatology.
It provides health care to the inner city of Rawalpindi and also serves as referral center for trauma patients. It has departments of Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Neurosurgery, Chest Diseases and orthopedics.

The Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC) serves as a sister hospital of Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU), playing a vital role in clinical training, research, and patient care. As a specialized tertiary care cardiac center, RIC is fully affiliated with RMU, offering state-of-the-art facilities in cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, cardiac anesthesia, and allied disciplines. This collaboration strengthens RMU’s academic excellence by providing undergraduate and postgraduate medical students hands-on experience in cardiac sciences, fostering advanced research, and ensuring quality healthcare delivery to the public. Together, RMU and RIC are committed to producing competent healthcare professionals and enhancing cardiovascular health outcomes in the region.
Rawalpindi Institute of Urology and Transplantation (RIUT) serves as a sister hospital of Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU), forming a vital part of its teaching and training infrastructure. As a state-of-the-art tertiary care center specializing in urology, nephrology, and renal transplantation, RIUT plays a key role in providing advanced clinical exposure to medical students, house officers, and postgraduate trainees affiliated with RMU. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic, surgical, and dialysis facilities, enabling a high standard of patient care and research. Through this partnership, RMU ensures its students receive hands-on clinical training in specialized fields, contributing to the development of skilled healthcare professionals and enhancing the overall healthcare services available to the community.
