Institute of Urology and Transplantation Rawalpindi is a 250 bedded speciality dedicated Hospital, situated on the main Murree Road Rawalpindi.
Nephrology Department
It has 30 bedded Hemodialysis unit, equipped with latest B Braun Dialog plus Hemodialysis machines, 40 bedded Nephrology Ward.
Peadiatric Nephrology ward.
Urology Department is equipped with Modern kidney stone breaking technology in the form of Extracorporeal Shockwave Lithotripter which is available for scarless removal of kidney stones. 56 Bedded Urology ward, 4 state of the art modern Modular Operation theaters and 2 conventional operation theaters, pediatric Urology, Uro-gyneacology, uro-oncology, Kidney Transplant unit, 10 bedded ICU. Radiology department at the institute is equipped with 4 modern X ray Machines, Ulttasound Machines, Color Doppler machines, CT scanner and latest MRI machine.
Pathology department and Radiotherapy Departments.
It is one of its kind public sector hospital in northern part of the country which serves for the patients from Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Mianwali, Attock, Chakwal districts, parts of Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa, Hazara, Azad Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan. Another 200 beded dialysis block is under construction in the premises which will enhance the hemodialysis facility to 23 beds and facilities of CAPD and CCPD will also be provided.
