Department of ENT RTH

Department of ENT, Head & Neck Surgery Rawalpindi Teaching Hospital is a 20 bedded ward with a functional OPD, Operation Theaters, and 24-hour emergency. It is headed by Prof. Dr. Sadia Chaudhry and comprises of 1 Assistant Professor. 1 Senior Registrar & 7 Post Graduate Trainees & 2 House officer. Our department is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Alongside clinical services, we are deeply committed to education and research.

Academic Programs

Undergraduate

Fourth-year medical students participate in two weekly rotations, gaining exposure in the outpatient department and operating theater. Each rotation concludes with a case-based assessment, followed by evaluation through a viva voce and an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).

Postgraduate

The Postgraduate ENT Training Program offers academic sessions with case presentations, research discussions, and skill-based workshops. Trainees gain hands-on surgical and diagnostic experience. The program prepares future ENT experts for independent, evidence-based practice.
