Department of ENT, Head & Neck Surgery Rawalpindi Teaching Hospital is a 20 bedded ward with a functional OPD, Operation Theater’s, and 24-hour emergency. It is headed by Dr. Haitham Akaash and comprises of 2 Assistant Professor. 1 Senior Registrar & 7 Post Graduate Trainees, 2 House officer & 2 District Consultant. Our department is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Alongside clinical services, we are deeply committed to education and research.

Academic Programs
Undergraduate
Fourth-year medical students participate in two weekly rotations, gaining exposure in the outpatient department and operating theater. Each rotation concludes with a case-based assessment, followed by evaluation through a viva voce and an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
