Eligibility Criteria
Category I
- Minimum of 10 years of schooling (Matric).
- 03 Years Diploma in Nursing.
- 01 Year Diploma in Midwifery or any Post Basic Specialty Diploma registered with PNMC.
- 01-year experience as RN after Diploma in Nursing.
- 02 years’ experience as RN for admission in Post RN BSN Degree Program as specified by HEC vide Notification No. 86(II)/A&A/2018/HEC/5799, dated 26.04.2018, and registered with PNMC.
- 02 years’ experience as RN which includes a minimum of 01 year experience as RN after Post RN BSN, including clinical experience in inpatient and outpatient settings in primary and tertiary care, as well as teaching and research.
Category II
- 12 years schooling (FSc Pre-Medical).
- 04 Year BS Nursing registered with PNMC.
- 01-year internship (bedside care).
- 01-year experience as RN after BSN. Clinical experience includes inpatient and outpatient care in primary, secondary and tertiary care settings, excluding the 01-year internship.

Important Instructions
- To apply, visit the official Rawalpindi Medical University website, where admission guidelines and updates are available.
- The application form must be completed by entering personal details, including name, domicile, contact information, address, nationality, gender, and date of birth.
- Before submission, applicants must read and acknowledge the undertaking and verify all provided information and attached documents.
- The completed application along with required documents must be submitted by hand/post at the College of Nursing, Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi, by 15th August 2026.
- The Entrance Test will be conducted by Rawalpindi Medical University, Rawalpindi, on 22nd August 2026. The test is compulsory for admission to the MSN Program. The passing marks are 50%.
- The Entry Test will be MCQ-based and will consist of: Nursing 60%, English 20%, Analytical Reasoning 10%, and Computer Skills 10%.
- The Entry Test will be conducted by Rawalpindi Medical University.
- No request for modification, amendment, rectification, or correction of an application will be entertained after its final submission.
- The candidate and/or admission committee reserves the right to reject an application if the information or documents submitted are found to be forged, fake, fabricated, incorrect, or incomplete.
- Candidates must submit the prescribed non-refundable processing fee through the payment method specified by Rawalpindi Medical University along with the application.
- The application form must be submitted in the prescribed format along with all required documents. The Admission Test Result, Interview Schedule, and Merit Lists shall be published on the official RMU website.
- Admission shall be strictly based on merit.
- Applicants who are in service must submit a valid NOC. Applicants applying on a placement or deputation basis must submit the required approval through the proper channel.
- Applicants holding foreign qualifications must provide equivalence certificates issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC), as applicable.
