Welcome To

Department of Paediatric Surgery HFH

The Department of Paediatric Surgery was established in 2017 as a single OPD room. Later on, indoor and emergency coverage for the pediatric population of North Punjab, AJK, and areas of KPK started.

Currently under the dynamic leadership of Associate Professor Dr. Mudassar Fiaz Gondal, the department has a capacity of 26 beds, including a 7-bed high dependency unit. We provide 24/7 emergency pediatric surgical coverage along with elective lists five days a week.

We provide surgical care to neonates, infants, and children up to 12 years of age. Our services include treatment of congenital defects, colorectal surgery, paediatric urology, thoracic surgeries and trauma care
