Website Harassment Policy
Rawalpindi Medical University is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful online environment for all members of our community. This policy outlines our approach to preventing and addressing website harassment.
Definition of Website Harassment
Website harassment includes but is not limited to:
- Posting offensive, abusive, or threatening content on university websites or forums
- Cyberbullying through university digital platforms
- Unauthorized sharing of personal information
- Creating fake profiles to harass or impersonate others
- Posting discriminatory content based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics
- Repeated unwanted contact through university communication channels
- Any form of online behavior that creates a hostile environment
Reporting Procedure
- Use the appropriate portal (student, staff, or faculty) to file a complaint
- Provide as much detail as possible about the incident
- Include any evidence such as screenshots or URLs
- Your complaint will be reviewed within 48 hours
- You will receive a reference number for tracking your complaint
- The investigation committee will contact you if additional information is needed
Confidentiality
All complaints are treated with strict confidentiality. Information will only be shared with individuals directly involved in the investigation process.
Non-Retaliation Policy
The university prohibits retaliation against individuals who report harassment in good faith. Any retaliatory behavior will be subject to disciplinary action.
