Qualifications and Experience

1. Registrar — BS-20
- Ph.D., FCPS, MS, MDS or MD in any discipline after MBBS or BDS, or equivalent qualification, from an HEC-recognized institution or university, with ten years’ relevant experience in a medical college, teaching hospital, institute or university recognized by HEC.
- M.Phil., MPH or MBA after MBBS or BDS, or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC, with twelve years’ relevant experience in a medical college, teaching hospital, institute or university recognized by HEC.
- MBBS or BDS, or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC, with fifteen years’ relevant experience in a medical college, teaching hospital, institute or university recognized by HEC.
- Ph.D. or M.Phil. after MBBS or BDS, or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institution or university, with ten years’ experience as Registrar (BS-20) or Additional Registrar (BS-19) in a public or private sector university recognized by HEC.
- Eighteen years of education (second division) from an HEC-recognized institution or university, with eighteen years’ post-qualification experience in administration or management in a university, government department or autonomous body in BS-17 or equivalent and above.
2. Controller of Examination — BS-20
- Ph.D., FCPS, MD, MS or MDS after MBBS or BDS, or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC, with ten years’ relevant experience in teaching, administration or the examination branch of a medical college, teaching hospital, institute or university recognized by HEC.
- M.Phil. or MPH, or MBBS or BDS, or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC, with twelve years’ relevant experience in a college, teaching hospital, institute or university recognized by HEC.
- MA, MSc, MBA or MCS, or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institution or university, with fifteen years’ experience in BS-18 or above in the examination branch of an institute, university or board recognized by HEC.
3. Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) — BS-20
- Ph.D., FCPS, MS or MD, or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institution or university, with ten years’ relevant experience in a medical college, teaching hospital or university recognized by HEC.
- M.Phil. or MPH (second division), or equivalent qualification after MBBS from an HEC-recognized institution or university, with ten years’ relevant experience.
- MS in Total Quality Management or another relevant discipline, or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institution or university, with ten years’ relevant experience working in different management positions.
