MESSAGE BY HEAD DEPARTMENT OF PHYSIOLOGY AT RMU
Physiology is important because it is the foundation upon which we build our knowledge of what “life” is, how to treat disease, and how to cope with stresses imposed upon our bodies by different environments. Physiology department at Rawalpindi medial university has always been up to the mark regarding different curricular reforms & always uses innovative teaching methods to enhance our teaching. We have a talented and productive group of faculty who are committed to aggressively enhancing our department’s contributions in making Rawalpindi Medical University a highly recognized and accredited center of excellence in medical education.

Curricular Reforms at Department of Physiology:
Conventional Teaching System is shifted to Integrated Modular System in academic year of 2017-2018 and currently we are teaching Physiology on Integrated Modular System which is a commendable achievement in public sector medical colleges.
Continuous Professional Development at Department of Physiology:
Continuous Professional Development of faculty through workshops & participation in International Scientific Conferences, at Department of Physiology& other Guest Lecturers & Conferences.
